The reality of caricature is pretty simple, we are selling a product, and there are certain days you sell enough to get by another day, and other days you don’t make enough to pay the tolls to and from the shift. You have to take every sale you can get even when your client is deep in their afternoon nap after a long day at the theme-parks.

No, holding your baby’s eyes doesn’t really help us draw the caricature (except to get their eye color, but you can tell us that…). Plus, I would assume you probably have a picture of your baby on your phone that would clearly show what they look like with their eyes open, we can handle this slightly less invasively.
